The Quiet Path – A Journey Into Presence

Join a 3-hour guided silent walk in a small group, designed to bring calm, clarity, and connection with nature.

Group size: up to 7 people
Distance: approx. 7–8 km

We walk at a slow, natural pace, mostly in silence. This allows you to fully arrive in the moment and experience your surroundings with fresh attention—your breath, your steps, and the landscape around you.

❤️🤎 Meditative Pause

Halfway through the walk, we pause in nature for a mindful break.

Here, you are invited to craft a small wooden heart—a simple, hands-on practice that brings your attention gently into the present moment.

As you shape the wood, you can reflect on what you wish to hold within you: gratitude, peace, or a quiet intention. Working with natural materials brings a grounding sense of calm and focus.

Your finished heart becomes a meaningful keepsake, a gentle reminder of the clarity and presence experienced during the walk.

You may also choose to sit quietly, write in your notebook, or simply observe the environment around you.

Closing Circle

We end the walk with tea or a warm drink in a relaxed atmosphere. Conversation returns gently, with space for sharing or quiet reflection.

What You Take With You

🌿 A calmer mind
🌿 A grounded body
🌿 A deeper connection to nature
🌿 A sense of clarity

Silence is spacious, and often exactly what we need.

Silence is not empty. It is spacious

and sometimes exactly what we need. 🌿

Between Steps

In silence.

In a busy life, quiet walking in nature offers space to slow down and breathe. It is a gentle way to return to yourself.

Even after the walk ends, a sense of calm often remains—something you can carry into everyday life.

Slow down, reconnect with your body, and rediscover your connection with nature and yourself. 🌿

The Roots of the Practice

Silent walking is an ancient practice found in many contemplative traditions.

In the Buddhist tradition of Plum Village, founded by Thich Nhat Hanh, walking meditation is a way of coming home to the present moment. You do not walk to arrive somewhere—you walk simply to arrive here and now.

Our walks are inspired by this same spirit. Taoist wisdom speaks of wu wei, effortless action—moving in harmony with the natural flow of life, without forcing or rushing. As Lao Tzu wrote, “Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.”

Today, modern science echoes these timeless insights. Research on forest bathing (shinrin-yoku) shows that slow, mindful time in nature can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and support the immune system.

The work of psychologist Jon Kabat-Zinn, who helped bring mindfulness into modern healthcare, further demonstrates that mindfulness—especially when combined with gentle movement and time in nature—can improve emotional balance, attention, and mental clarity.

IN LOVE WITH THE WOOD

Wooden heart with autumn leaves

I’ve always been drawn to nature — to its beauty, textures, and organic forms — so working with wood felt like a natural path to follow.

Then fate stepped in. I met Robert, the father of a dear friend and a master carpenter. With patience and generosity, he shared his knowledge, guided me through the craft, and opened the door to a new chapter in my creative journey.
